Creche Community:

Children are welcome in our worship gatherings but we understand that sometimes  a parent might prefer  an alternative.  We offer a  supervised play area for toddlers during our worship gatherings. Parents are asked to complete an information form and to sign children in and out.  Snacks are provided for children when this is permitted by parents.

More than childcare:

Our Creche Community is intended to provide more than childcare.  We see it as an opportunity for networking between parents and as a means for the whole church community to embrace a family with children and to be there in times of need. 

Classes for older children:

For students in 7th and 8th grade we offer a confirmation experience that leads to full membership in the church. We understand confirmation to be the time when a personal decision is made to confirm the vows of baptism.  In The University Church, this typically happens as a group of students join together for a series of explorations in the faith, followed by a ceremony in which students publicly declare their commitment to Christ and their wish to become full adult members of our church family.  Contact us to find out the details of our 2008 confirmation journey at 419-534-3080 or by email.
